Possibly. Sigma CEO, Kazuto Yamaki, said in a recent interview the company is working hard on its full-frame Foveon sensor and 'should' have it ready 'sometime this year.'     Going long: Tamron announces upcoming 50–400mm F4.5–6.3 lens Tamron has revealed the details of a new 50–400mm F4.5–6.3 Di III VC VXD lens that it expects to have on the market later this year.

In the meantime, the older versions of the lenses - and three other lenses - are being discontinued.
