Sometimes the most revealing thing about a new camera isn’t the sensor or autofocus system. It’s the reaction people have to the controls. |
That has been especially true with Panasonic’s new Lumix L10. Between the debate around its revised interface and the inevitable comparisons to the LX100 II’s size and handling, this launch has quickly turned into a broader conversation about what photographers actually want from a modern compact camera — and what we’re willing to give up to get it. |
We’ve also spent time this week digging into Sony’s a7R VI RAW processing performance in our studio scene tests, because as cameras continue pushing resolution and computational features higher, the downstream workflow implications matter just as much as the hardware itself. |
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, we’re continuing to push toward the finish line on DPReview’s updated website. We’re getting close now, and we’re excited to start sharing more of what we’ve been working on soon. As always, thanks for being a reader and supporting our work. |
