Welcome to the 644th Digital Photography Review newsletter. After the excitement of the Leica M10 launch, not to be outdone, Fujifilm unveiled its own rangefinder (style) camera last week - the long-awaited X100F. We've been playing around with a pre-production sample for a few days, and it's already one of our favorite cameras of 2017. Check out our hands-on and sample images from the links below. Meanwhile, Richard was in New York to interview senior Fujifilm executives, our friend Jared Polin (aka 'Fro knows photo') launched an app, and Dale traveled to Croatia with photographer Max Lowe, to shoot with the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. Well, OK, he actually went over there last year, but videos take a long time to make. Check it out. F is for '4th': Hands-on with Fujifilm X100F Fujifilm has announced the fourth in its series of X100 rangefinder-style cameras: the X100F. The X100F features an updated sensor, revamped autofocus system, larger battery and tweaked ergonomics. We met with Fujifilm recently and got our hands on a pre-production sample. Jared Polin launches 'MyGearVault' app to help you keep track of your gear You probably know him as that shouty man on YouTube with the big hair, but for the past few months, Jared Polin (aka 'Fro Knows Photo') has been working on a new app designed to help photographers keep track of their gear. Welcome to the 643rd Digital Photography Review newsletter. I've been in Leica-land this week, getting to grips with the company's latest rangefinder. The M10 is certainly my favorite M-series model yet, and arguably the best combination of classic and modern operation that the company has managed. We've also been using Panasonic's new GH5, and we've prepared detailed hands-on first look and an explainer article which pulls apart the main differences between the GH5 and its predecessor. Links to all of this content follow below. Leica M10 First-impressions Review Leica's latest rangefinder dispenses with the last-generation 'Typ' naming convention and goes back to its M-series roots. The M10 is slimmed down, sped up, and very nice indeed. Click to read more about the new Leica M10 Hands-on with the Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 The GH5 is Panasonic's new flagship stills camera, but it also packs an incredible video feature set, centered around uncropped 4K capture at up to 60p.
