Welcome to the 650th Digital Photography Review newsletter! It hasn't stopped raining since we returned from Japan, so Dan and I have taken the opportunity to stay inside and get some writing done. Dan has written up his experience of shooting in Tokyo with the Fujifilm GFX 50S, and I've been writing about how it felt to spend a few days with the new Leica M10. In other news, friend of DPReview José Francisco Salgado reviewed the new Cinetics Lynx motion control system for us, and we got to grips with the Panasonic Lumix DC GH5 both in our studio, and out in the real world. You'll find links to all of those articles below. Juggling with one hand: Leica M10 shooting experience For stills photographers, the Leica M10 should be the most useful rangefinder that Leica has yet created, but how does it perform? I ditched my DSLR and took the M10 to Japan for a few days to find out.. Click here to read my M10 shooting experience. Fujifilm GFX 50S: on the streets of Tokyo, a shooting experience A couple of weeks ago, Dan Bracaglia was able to explore Tokyo for the very first time, alongside the Fujifilm GFX 50S medium-format digital camera. Did he like it? Read more about Dan's experience shooting with the GFX 50S Cinetics Lynx motion control system review Professional astrophotographer and DPReview contributor, José Francisco Salgado, has been using Cinetics' new Lynx motion control system for several weeks and shares his experience in this hands-on review. Sure, the Panasonic GH5 comes with 4K/60p capability and a full suite of capture aids aimed at videographers, but it's a highly capable stills-shooting machine as well. See how it performed in our studio test scene and in the real world. Check out our gallery of stills from the Panasonic DC GH5 Barney | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
