The DPReview Newsletter Thursday, November 30, 2023
| | It's that time of year. Turn on your TV today and you'll see every news anchor utter, "How is it December already?" I'll spare you (and myself).
Instead, let us turn our eye toward what's bubbling up in the world of photography. This week, we take a closer look at the iPhone 15 Plus, ponder the future of cameras and brush up on some landscape photography skills. And, a newsletter exclusive sneak peek, behind the scenes we're gearing up for our end-of-year awards and asking, "How do you sum up 2023?" (How would you sum up 2023?) This month, we also officially turn 25! If you've been following along at home, that wasn't a given with our pending demise last Spring. But, with apologies to Barry Manilow, it looks like we made it!
DPReview launched around this time in 1998 and published our first review on Christmas Day. We're sorting out how to celebrate, but I suspect there will be a dose of nostalgia no doubt, maybe even some awe as we look at how far we've come as a community. You, everyone reading this, are a big part of this history and we wouldn't be here without you. Thank you for spending your day with us. Cheers.
