Twenty-five years ago, on Christmas day, we published our first-ever camera review with the Canon Powershot Pro70 and started a decades-long trek through camera history.
From our front-row seats, we witnessed the rise of digital photography. DSLRs for every type of use case flew off shelves at the turn of the century. The introduction of video recalibrated what a still camera could do. Mirrorless cameras introduced advancements to AF and subject recognition and new lens design. Smartphones and apps ushered in a new era of photography. And we were there to document it all.
